Return Cost

This page explains when return shipping is free, when extra charges may apply, and how Piggy Design handles return-related costs for web orders in defect or fulfillment-error cases.

1. When return cost is free

  • If the item is defective, damaged in transit, incomplete, or shipped incorrectly because of our mistake, Piggy Design will normally cover the return or replacement shipping cost.
  • If a return shipment is not required, we may resolve the issue through a reprint, replacement, refund, or partial refund without asking the customer to pay extra.
  • If the customer already paid a reasonable return shipping fee for an approved defect case, we may reimburse that amount after review.

2. When extra cost may apply

Because most products are custom-made to order, change-of-mind returns are generally not accepted. If an exceptional return is approved outside a defect case, the customer may be responsible for related costs.

  • The customer may need to pay return shipping when the issue is not caused by production, fulfillment, or delivery damage attributable to us.
  • Additional rework, redesign, or reprint costs may apply when a request results from customer-provided or customer-approved information.

3. Cost confirmation

If any return-related cost applies, our team will confirm it with the customer before proceeding. Please contact us first so we can review the case and recommend the most practical solution.
